New Jersey High School Basketball - Williamstown nips Shawnee
January 13, 2023: Williamstown, NJ 08094 Williamstown Braves (Williamstown, NJ) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Shawnee Renegades (Medford, NJ), 53-51 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Williamstown upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Sterling (Somerdale, NJ) to play the Silver Knights in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Silver Knights come into the bout with a record of 11-0. Sterling won 63-59 in their recent non-league bout against Gloucester City (Gloucester City, NJ)
Next up, the Renegades play the Moorestown Quakers (Moorestown, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Shawnee will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Quakers come into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 80-35 non-league loss to Camden (Camden, NJ).
