California High School Basketball - Winters nips Willows
January 13, 2023: Winters, CA 95694 Winters Warriors (Winters, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Willows Honkers (Willows, CA), 58-53 in a league bout.
With the win, Winters upgrades its record to 7-9 on the season. The Warriors host Durham (Durham, CA) to play the Trojans in a Sacramento Valley bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Durham won 63-44 in their recent league bout against Paradise (Paradise, CA)
Next up, the Honkers play the Live Oak Lions (Live Oak, CA) in a Sacramento Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Willows will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 77-44 league loss to Colusa (Colusa, CA).
