McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA), 67-62 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, McLean upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Highlanders host George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA) to play the Statesmen in a non-league bout on Friday, January 20. The Statesmen come into the bout with a record of 8-0.

Next up, the Generals play the Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Washington-Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record.
