North Carolina High School Basketball - Albemarle overwhelms Robinson
January 13, 2023: Albemarle, NC 28001 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC) and the visiting Robinson Bulldogs (Concord, NC), saw Albemarle's basketball squad wallop Robinson by a tally of 60-18.
With the victory, Albemarle improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Anson (Wadesboro, NC) to confront the Bearcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 16. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 2-11. Anson lost 69-39 in their recent league challenge against Parkwood (Monroe, NC)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 35 challenge, on Friday, January 20. Robinson will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Comets come into the contest with a 15-1 record after their 72-39 non-league win over Forest Hills (Marshville, NC).
