Georgia High School Basketball - Habersham Central overwhelms Apalachee
January 13, 2023: Winder, GA 30680 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Habersham Central Raiders (Mt. Airy, GA) and the host Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA), saw Habersham Central's basketball squad wallop Apalachee by a tally of 51-26.
With the victory, Habersham Central improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Raiders host North Forsyth (Cumming, GA) to confront the Raiders in a AAAAAA Region 8 challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 11-5. North Forsyth won 79-59 in their recent league challenge against Gainesville (Gainesville, GA)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the North Forsyth Raiders (Cumming, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Apalachee will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 11-6 record after their 55-45 league loss to Habersham Central (Mt. Airy, GA).
