Maine High School Basketball - Cheverus over Hampden
January 13, 2023: Hampden, ME 04444 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Cheverus Stags (Portland, ME) and the host Hampden Broncos (Hampden, ME), saw Cheverus's basketball squad overcome Hampden by a tally of 45-34.
With the victory, Cheverus improves its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Stags host Edward Little (Auburn, ME) to confront the Red Eddies in a AA North challenge on Monday, January 16. The Red Eddies come into the challenge with a record of 7-8. Edward Little lost 91-48 in their recent league challenge against Oxford Hills (South Paris, ME)
Next up, the Broncos confront the Bangor Rams (Bangor, ME) in a AA North challenge, on Friday, January 20. Hampden will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record.
