The United Longhorns basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Del Rio Rams to 30 in the Longhorns league victory on Friday.

The Longhorns now sport a 22-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laredo LBJ for a 6A Region IV District 30 contest on Tuesday, January 17. United will battle a Wolves team coming off a 52-34 league win over Eagle Pass (Eagle Pass, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 17-12.

The Rams (2-15) will now prepare for their contest against Alexander (Laredo, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 6A Region IV District 30 contest with a 9-21 record. In their last contest, Alexander was routed by United South (Laredo, TX), 62-32, in a league contest.
