Arizona High School Basketball - Desert Edge can't hold off Horizon

The Horizon Huskies basketball team scored 31 points and restricted the host Desert Edge Scorpions to 26 in the Huskies non-league victory on Friday.

The Huskies now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cactus Shadows for a 5A Northeast Valley contest on Tuesday, January 17. Horizon will battle a Falcons team coming off a 67-38 league loss to Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ). The Falcons record now stands at 10-9.

The Scorpions (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Canyon View (Waddell, AZ). The Jaguars come into the 5A Desert West contest with a 14-4 record. In their last contest, Canyon View edged Westview (Avondale, AZ), 80-25, in a league contest.
