In Monday's non-league outing, the Centennial Coyotes (Peoria, AZ) basketball squad felled the visiting Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ), by a margin of 28-16.

The Coyotes (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Ironwood (Glendale, AZ). The Eagles go into the 5A Northwest outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Ironwood was beaten by Pueblo (Tucson, AZ), 73-22, in a non-league outing.
