The Foothill Falcons basketball team (Henderson, NV), was overwhelmed 50-16 in Friday's league battle with the host Spring Valley Grizzlies (Las Vegas, NV)

The Grizzlies now possess a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canyon Springs for a 5A Southern battle on Tuesday, January 17. Spring Valley will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 56-35 league loss to Legacy (North Las Vegas, NV). The Pioneers record now stands at 6-10.

The Falcons (3-10) will now prepare for their battle against Desert Oasis (Las Vegas, NV). The Diamondbacks come into the 5A Southern battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Desert Oasis was overwhelmed by Coronado (Henderson, NV), 68-34, in a league battle.
