Louisiana High School Basketball - Franklin Parish overwhelms Grant
January 13, 2023: Dry Prong, LA 71423 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Franklin Parish Patriots (Winnsboro, LA) and the host Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA), saw Franklin Parish's basketball squad wallop Grant by a tally of 58-19.
With the victory, Franklin Parish improves its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Tioga (Tioga, LA) to confront the Indians in a 4A District 2 challenge on Friday, January 20. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 10-10.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Tioga Indians (Tioga, LA) in a 4A District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Grant will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 10-10 record after their 41-35 league loss to Peabody (Alexandria, LA).
