The Freedom Patriots basketball team (Bethlehem, PA), was toppled 49-37 in Friday's league battle with the host Liberty Hurricanes (Bethlehem, PA)

The Hurricanes now possess a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Allentown Central Catholic for a Eastern Pennsylvania - Skyline battle on Tuesday, January 17. Liberty will confront a Vikings team coming off a 55-22 non-league win over William Allen (Allentown, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 8-3.

The Patriots (1-10) will now prepare for their battle against Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Northwestern Lehigh beat Palisades (Kintnersville, PA), 45-6, in a non-league battle.
