Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Slidell Greyhounds (Slidell, TX) and the visiting Midway Falcons (Henrietta, TX), saw Slidell's basketball squad wallop Midway by a tally of 75-40.

With the victory, Slidell improves its record to 20-3 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Gold-Burg (Bowie, TX) to confront the Bears in a 1A Region III District 22 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 1-8.

Next up, the Falcons confront the Gold-Burg Bears (Bowie, TX) in a 1A Region III District 22 challenge, on Friday, January 20. Midway will attempt to improve on its 9-16 season record.
