Park Rapids Panthers (Park Rapids, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Staples-Motley Cardinals (Staples, MN), 62-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Park Rapids upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Panthers host Central (Norwood-Young America, MN) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Central won 54-37 in their recent league bout against Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, MN)
