South San Antonio Bobcats (San Antonio, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Southwest Dragons (San Antonio, TX), 67-44 in a league bout.

With the win, South San Antonio improves its record to 23-6 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to McCollum (San Antonio, TX) to confront the Cowboys in a 5A Region IV District 28 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a record of 19-7.

Next up, the Dragons confront the Harlandale Indians (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 28 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Southwest will attempt to improve on its 11-17 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 18-9 record after their 64-55 league win over Winn (Eagle Pass, TX).
