Virginia High School Basketball - East Rockingham tops Page County
January 13, 2023: Elkton, VA 22827 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the East Rockingham Eagles (Elkton, VA) and the visiting Page County Panthers (Shenandoah, VA), saw East Rockingham's basketball squad knock off Page County by a count of 50-36.
With the victory, East Rockingham upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Strasburg (Strasburg, VA) to play the Rams in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 6-7.
Next up, the Panthers play the Strasburg Rams (Strasburg, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Page County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 29-27 non-league loss to Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA).
