North Carolina High School Basketball - Washington nudges SouthWest Edgecombe

January 13, 2023: Pinetops, NC 27864

Washington Pam Pack (Washington, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars (Pinetops, NC), 48-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Washington upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Pam Pack travel to Northside - Pinetown (Pinetown, NC) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 20. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 5-4.

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Tarboro Vikings (Tarboro, NC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. SouthWest Edgecombe will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 63-59 league win over Washington County (Plymouth, NC).
