California High School Basketball - Village Christian overwhelms Valley Christian
January 13, 2023: Cerritos, CA 90703 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Village Christian Crusaders (Sun Valley, CA) and the host Valley Christian Defenders (Cerritos, CA), saw Village Christian's basketball squad wallop Valley Christian by a tally of 74-48.
With the victory, Village Christian improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to West Ranch (Valencia, CA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 11-9. West Ranch won 67-50 in their recent league challenge against Canyon (Canyon Country, CA)
Next up, the Defenders play the Maranatha Minutemen (Pasadena, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, January 20. Valley Christian will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Minutemen come into the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 60-39 league loss to Heritage Christian (Northridge, CA).
