Birchwood Christian Warriors (Chugiak, AK) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Nanwalek (Nanwalek, AK), 36-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Birchwood Christian upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Warriors host Walter Northway (Northway, AK) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13.
