In Saturday's non-league match, the host River Valley Vikings basketball team scored a tight 65-63 triumph over the Bishop Ready Silver Knights.

In their next game, the Vikings meet the Ontario Warriors (Mansfield, OH) in a Mid-Ohio - Red match, on Thursday, January 18. River Valley will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 3-9 record after their 77-70 non-league loss to Ashland (Ashland, OH).
