Jonathan Alder Pioneers (Plain City, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting River Valley Vikings (Caledonia, OH), 77-71 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jonathan Alder upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Pioneers travel to London (London, OH) to clash with the Red Raiders in a Central Buckeye Conference - Kenton Trail bout on Friday, December 15. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 2-1. London won 63-61 in their recent non-league bout against St. Francis DeSales (Columbus, OH)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Marion Harding Presidents (Marion, OH) in a Mid-Ohio - Red bout, on Friday, December 15. River Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Presidents go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 63-43 league win over Highland (Marengo, OH).
