Ohio High School Basketball - River Valley tops Bishop Watterson

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the River Valley Vikings (Caledonia, OH) and the visiting Bishop Watterson Eagles (Columbus, OH), saw River Valley's basketball squad knock off Bishop Watterson by a count of 62-49.

With the victory, River Valley upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Clear Fork (Bellville, OH) to play the Colts in a Mid-Ohio - Red challenge on Friday, January 12. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Clear Fork won 45-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Edison (Milan, OH)

Next up, the Eagles play the Bishop Hartley Hawks (Columbus, OH) in a Central Catholic challenge, on Friday, January 12. Bishop Watterson will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
