Georgia High School Basketball - Cedar Shoals knocked off by Union Grove
January 13, 2024: Athens, GA 30605 The Union Grove Wolverines basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Cedar Shoals Jaguars to 57 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wolverines now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warner Robins for a AAAAA Region 2 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Union Grove will meet a Demons team coming off a 92-78 non-league win over Northside (Warner Robins, GA). The Demons record now stands at 9-5.
The Jaguars (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against East Hall (Gainesville, GA). The Vikings enter the AAAA Region 8 contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, East Hall was outscored by North Hall (Gainesville, GA), 81-60, in a league contest.
