Washington High School Basketball - Chiawana can't hold off Southridge
January 13, 2024: Kennewick, WA 99338 The Southridge Suns basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Chiawana Riverhawks to 49 in the Suns league triumph on Saturday.
The Suns now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kamiakin for a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia contest on Friday, January 19.
The Riverhawks (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Kamiakin (Kennewick, WA). The Braves enter the 3A/4A Mid-Columbia contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Kamiakin nudged Hermiston (Hermiston, WA), 62-41, in a league contest.
