In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Capital Christian Cougars basketball team scored a good 63-50 triumph over the Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA) in a non-league match, on Monday, January 15. Capital Christian will attempt to move on its 11-7 season record. The Dragons enter the match with a 10-5 record after their 60-58 league win over Berkeley (Berkeley, CA).

With the defeat, Clayton Valley Charter moves to 12-5 on the year. The Ugly eagles host Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA) to face the Knights in a Diablo match on Monday, January 15.
