Ohio High School Basketball - Waynesville fells Dixie
January 13, 2024: Waynesville, OH 45068 Waynesville Spartans (Waynesville, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dixie Greyhounds (New Lebanon, OH), 54-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Waynesville upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Spartans travel to Monroe (Monroe, OH) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 6-6. Monroe won 56-45 in their recent league bout against Edgewood (Trenton, OH)
Next up, the Greyhounds clash with the Tri-County North Panthers (Lewisburg, OH) in a Western Ohio bout, on Friday, January 19. Dixie will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-11 record after their 68-29 non-league loss to Emmanuel Christian Academy (Springfield, OH).
