Oregon High School Basketball - Echo overwhelms Griswold
January 13, 2024: Helix, OR 97835 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Echo Cougars (Echo, OR) and the host Griswold Grizzlies (Helix, OR), saw Echo's basketball squad wallop Griswold by a tally of 60-12.
With the victory, Echo improves its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Union (Union, OR) to confront the Bobcats in a 1A Old Oregon challenge on Friday, January 19. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. Union lost 74-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Stanfield (Stanfield, OR)
Next up, the Grizzlies confront the Pilot Rock Rockets (Pilot Rock, OR) in a 1A Old Oregon challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Griswold will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 57-25 league win over Elgin (Elgin, OR).
