Missouri High School Basketball - Jasper succumbs to Liberal
January 13, 2024: Jasper, MO 64755 The Liberal Bulldogs topped the host Jasper Eagles basketball team by a final score of 52-38 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Bulldogs now possess a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sheldon for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 16. Liberal will battle a Panthers team coming off a 55-43 non-league win over Jefferson Independent Day (Joplin, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 8-5.
The Eagles (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Archie (Archie, MO). The Whirlwinds come into the Western Missouri battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Archie dropped by Wellington-Napoleon (Wellington, MO), 64-61, in a non-league battle.
