New Jersey High School Basketball - Lakeland Regional topped by West Milford
January 13, 2024: Wanaque, NJ 07465 The West Milford Highlanders basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Lakeland Regional Lancers to 50 in the Highlanders league victory on Saturday.
The Highlanders now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Garfield for a non-league contest on Monday, January 15. West Milford will battle a Boilermakers team coming off a 48-29 league win over Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, NJ). The Boilermakers record now stands at 7-5.
The Lancers (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Passaic Valley (Little Falls, NJ). The Hornets come into the Big North - Independence contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Passaic Valley was defeated by Passaic Arts & Science Charter (Passaic, NJ), 46-45, in a non-league contest.
