California High School Basketball - Marquez tops Salesian
January 13, 2024: Los Angeles, CA 90023 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Marquez Gladiators (Huntington Park, CA) and the host Salesian Mustangs (Los Angeles, CA), saw Marquez's basketball squad knock off Salesian by a tally of 46-37.
With the victory, Marquez improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Gladiators host Bellflower (Bellflower, CA) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Bellflower lost 46-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Valley Christian (Cerritos, CA)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Bishop Amat Lancers (La Puente, CA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, January 17. Salesian will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 63-13 league win over Cathedral (Los Angeles, CA).
