January 13, 2024: Destin, FL 32541 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Rocky Bayou Christian Knights (Niceville, FL) and the host Destin Sharks (Destin, FL), saw Rocky Bayou Christian's basketball squad hold off Destin by a tally of 25-23.
With the victory, Rocky Bayou Christian improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Knights host Franklin County (Eastpoint, FL) to play the Seahawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 19. The Seahawks come into the challenge with a record of 12-4.
Next up, the Sharks play the Freeport Bulldogs (Freeport, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 15. Destin will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 53-45 non-league win over Walton (DeFuniak Springs, FL).
