The Foothill Cougars (Palo Cedro, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting West Valley Eagles (Cottonwood, CA), 68-55 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Cougars (14-5) will now prepare for their test against Chico (Chico, CA). The Panthers go into the Eastern test with a 11-7 record. In their last test, Chico notched a victory over Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA), 68-25, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 15-5 record. They play next when they travel to University Prep for a Northern test on Wednesday, January 17.
