California High School Basketball - Monte Vista Christian topped by Harker

The Harker Eagles basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Monte Vista Christian Mustangs to 42 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.

The Eagles now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Castilleja for a West Bay - Skyline contest on Tuesday, January 16. Harker will battle a Gators team coming off a 43-42 league loss to Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA). The Gators record now stands at 7-3.

The Mustangs (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Rancho San Juan (Salinas, CA). The Trailblazers come into the PCAL - Mission contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Rancho San Juan was defeated by Stevenson (Pebble Beach, CA), 53-49, in a league contest.
