South Dakota High School Basketball - Hot Springs fells Newell
January 13, 2024: Newell, SD 57760 Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Newell Irrigators (Newell, SD), 35-24 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hot Springs upgrades its record to 3-9 on the season. The Bison travel to Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD) to play the Tatanka in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 18. The Tatanka come into the challenge with a record of 2-6.
Next up, the Irrigators confront the Custer Wildcats (Custer, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Newell will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 54-22 non-league loss to Red Cloud (Pine Ridge, SD).
