January 2, 2024: Oelrichs, SD 57763 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Newell Irrigators (Newell, SD) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Oelrichs Tigers (Oelrichs, SD), by a margin of 64-31.
The Irrigators (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Tiospaye Topa (Ridgeview, SD). The Thunderhawks go into the B Region 8 outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Tiospaye Topa smashed Cheyenne-Eagle Butte (Eagle Butte, SD), 51-44, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hay Springs for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 4. Oelrichs will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 61-14 non-league win over Banner County (Harrisburg, NE). The Hawks record now stands at 8-2.
