Georgia High School Basketball - Lakeside crushes Towers
January 13, 2024: Decatur, GA 30032 Lakeside Vikings (Atlanta, GA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Towers Titans (Decatur, GA), 58-3 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Lakeside upgrades its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Marist (Atlanta, GA) to play the War Eagles in a AAAAAA Region 4 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The War Eagles come into the bout with a record of 16-1. Marist won 60-23 in their recent league bout against Riverwood (Sandy Springs, GA)
Next up, the Titans play the McNair Mustangs (Atlanta, GA) in a AA Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Towers will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record.
