Georgia High School Basketball - Towers knocked off by M.L. King

The M.L. King Lions basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Towers Titans to 41 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lithonia for a AAAAA Region 4 contest on Tuesday, December 12. M.L. King will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 46-24 league loss to Chamblee (Chamblee, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-7.

The Titans (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Elite Scholars Academy (Jonesboro, GA). The Royal Knights enter the AA Region 5 contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Elite Scholars Academy was defeated by Eagle's Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, GA), 39-30, in a league outing.
