Ohio High School Basketball - Western Reserve holds off Mogadore

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Western Reserve Blue Devils (Berlin Center, OH) and the host Mogadore Wildcats (Mogadore, OH), saw Western Reserve's basketball squad hold off Mogadore by a tally of 39-38.

With the victory, Western Reserve improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Springfield (New Middletown, OH) to confront the Tigers in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Springfield won 50-24 in their recent league challenge against Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the John F. Kennedy Catholic Eagles (Warren, OH) in a Portage Trail challenge, on Wednesday, January 17. Mogadore will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 55-45 league loss to Rootstown (Rootstown, OH).
