Ohio High School Basketball - Western Reserve nips Lowellville

January 8, 2024: Lowellville, OH 44436

Western Reserve Blue Devils (Berlin Center, OH) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Lowellville Rockets (Lowellville, OH), 37-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Western Reserve upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Mogadore (Mogadore, OH) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 5-6. Mogadore lost 66-22 in their recent non-league bout against Loudonville (Loudonville, OH)

Next up, the Rockets play the McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet bout, on Thursday, January 11. Lowellville will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 53-25 league loss to Springfield (New Middletown, OH).
