Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Weld Central Rebels (Keenesburg, CO) and the visiting Brush Beetdiggers (Brush, CO), saw Weld Central's basketball squad wallop Brush by a count of 61-38.

With the victory, Weld Central upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Rebels host Sterling (Sterling, CO) to play the Tigers in a challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 0-5. Sterling lost 52-47 in their recent league challenge against Eaton (Eaton, CO)

Next up, the Beetdiggers play the Frontier Academy Wolverines (Greeley, CO) in a challenge, on Wednesday, January 17. Brush will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record.
