Michigan High School Basketball - Almont fells Marine City
January 13, 2025: Almont, MI 48003 The Almont Raiders basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Marine City Mariners to 41 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Monday.
The Raiders now have a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Algonac for a Blue Water Area game on Thursday, January 16. Almont will confront a Muskrats team coming off a 73-66 non-league loss to Capac (Capac, MI). The Muskrats record now stands at 3-8.
With the loss, Marine City falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Mariners travel to South Lake (St. Clair Shores, MI) to confront the Cavaliers in a Macomb Area - Silver game on Wednesday, January 15. The Cavaliers go into the game with a record of 8-4. South Lake won 54-51 in their recent league game against Eastpointe (Eastpointe, MI)
