In Monday's non-league test, the Briarwood Academy Buccaneers (Warrenton, GA) basketball squad defeated the host Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars (Louisville, GA), by a score of 60-49.

Next, the Buccaneers clash with the John Hancock Academy Rebels (Sparta, GA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 14. Briarwood Academy will attempt to improve on its 11-2 season record.
