Maine High School Basketball - Sumner overwhelms Deer Isle-Stonington
January 13, 2025: Deer Isle, ME 04627 The Sumner Tigers basketball team scored 77 points and limited the host Deer Isle-Stonington Mariners to 17 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Tigers now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Narraguagus for a C North game on Friday, January 17. Sumner will confront a Knights team coming off a 73-34 league loss to Machias (Machias, ME). The Knights record now stands at 2-9.
