In Monday's non-league test, the Piedmont Academy Cougars (Monticello, GA) basketball squad defeated the host St. George's (Milner, GA), by a final score of 77-58.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Stratford Academy Eagles (Macon, GA) in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 test, on Tuesday, January 14. Piedmont Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 13-4 record after their 81-31 league win over First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA).
