The Silver Fighting Colts basketball squad (Silver City, NM), lost 50-33 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM)

With the victory, Centennial advances its record to 4-10 on the year. The Hawks travel to Deming (Deming, NM) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Thursday, January 16. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 10-4. Deming won 43-37 in their recent non-league battle against Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM)

The Fighting Colts now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cobre for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 15. Silver will meet a Indians squad coming off a 59-50 non-league win over Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM). The Indians record now stands at 5-7.
