The Howell Rebels (Farmingdale, NJ) basketball edged the host Neptune Scarlet Fliers (Neptune, NJ), 38-34 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Rebels now possess a 7-0 record. They play next when they host Freehold Boro for a Shore A - North bout on Wednesday, January 15. Howell will play a Colonials team coming off a 66-19 non-league win over Henry Hudson (Highlands, NJ). The Colonials record now stands at 6-1.
