January 13, 2025: Ladysmith, WI 54848 Ladysmith Lumberjacks (Ladysmith, WI) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Rib Lake Redmen (Rib Lake, WI), 55-47 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Ladysmith advances its record to 9-4 on the year. The Lumberjacks host St. Croix Falls (St. Croix Falls, WI) to meet the Saints in a Heart O'North match on Tuesday, January 14. The Saints enter the match with a record of 3-10. St. Croix Falls lost 52-29 in their recent non-league match against Prescott (Prescott, WI)
The Redmen now own a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chequamegon for a Marawood - North match on Thursday, January 16. Rib Lake will meet a Screaming Eagles squad coming off a 56-43 league loss to Athens (Athens, WI). The Screaming Eagles record now stands at 2-10.
