Texas High School Basketball - North Mesquite overwhelms Spruce

The North Mesquite Stallions basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Spruce Timberwolves to 12 in the Stallions league triumph on Monday.

The Stallions now have a 12-13 record. They play next when they travel to Seagoville for a 5A Region II District 14 game on Tuesday, January 14. North Mesquite will confront a Dragons team coming off a 49-35 league loss to Wilson (Dallas, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 8-15.

With the loss, Spruce falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Timberwolves host Samuell (Dallas, TX) to confront the Spartans in a 5A Region II District 14 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 8-10. Samuell lost 47-4 in their recent league game against West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX)
