January 13, 2025: Gowrie, IA 50543 South Hamilton Hawks (Jewell, IA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Southeast Valley Jaguars (Gowrie, IA), 46-25 in a non-league match.
With the victory, South Hamilton upgrades its record to 5-7 on the year. The Hawks travel to Nevada (Nevada, IA) to face the Cubs in a Heart of Iowa match on Friday, January 17. The Cubs enter the match with a record of 6-7. Nevada won 63-32 in their recent league match against Saydel (Des Moines, IA)
The Jaguars now sport a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Webster City for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. Southeast Valley will face a Lynx squad coming off a 49-47 non-league win over Nevada (Nevada, IA). The Lynx record now stands at 1-10.
