January 13, 2025: Warsaw, NC 28398 James Kenan Tigers (Warsaw, NC) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC), 34-26 in a non-league match.
With the victory, James Kenan advances its record to 4-3 on the year. The Tigers host North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC) to face the Hawks in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 2-6. North Lenoir lost 33-22 in their recent non-league match against East Duplin (Beulaville, NC)
The Dark Horses now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 15. Clinton will face a Spartans squad coming off a 51-46 league win over Lakewood (Roseboro, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 9-1.
